What if the toolpath
is the decoration?

I wanted to see how far a CNC and a solid-surface material could go beyond flat and smooth. Every groove on this speaker is a single cutter pass, radiating out from the driver like sound itself, then sanded until the stone-like surface asks to be touched.

It’s where I first learned how HI-MACS cuts, sands and joins, and the direct ancestor of Meloen.

2–3 sentences: how you generated the pattern (CAM strategy, cutter, ball nose?), how many tries it took, what surprised you about the material.
